Hard work

Today's walk around the park uncovered that there was plenty of hard work going on around the park. Enough so that after my walk I had to come in and rest up a bit. Here's what I saw.
New roof going on.

Widening the concrete for a new, wider awning.

Repainting some fence sections.

Re-leveling after this unit that was twisted off its foundation when the awning was blown off.

All in all the park is slowly rebounding from the damage done, but every day a new group of adjusters show up to assess damages.

Todays calendar is blank and getting harder to fill as four more groups departed this morning, but we are still managing to enjoy the good life even with the fewer numbers.

  1. Construction is interesting to watch. I'm glad yours is out of the way now though.

  3. Nice to see people picking themselves up, dusting themselves off, and starting anew to rebuild and replace. What a terror those storms are!
