Good Morning

This morning was a good morning. Jim (the park manager, who was nice enough to give me a ride) and I left the park at 7:30 this morning and got to the doctors office at 8. It wasn't long before the doctor saw me and everything is on the upswing.  Blood pressure down, blood oxygen up and, the best news, blood sugars down 400 points. The doctor was very surprised at the progress made in just a month. He did ask me to stay an additional month  just to make sure the progress continues. I was very pleased with the report and now feel better about my health.

I talked to the RV repairman today and the parts aren't in yet, but he hopes they will arrive today or tomorrow. Needless to say he has plenty of work to keep him busy for a few days.

This afternoon will probably require a siesta based on the early departure from the bed to get ready for the doctor. Other than that we will be enjoying the good life.

  2. Great news, Joe. Shows that one does have control over some aspects of their health if they put their mind to it!

  3. Very good news John. Poppy's blood glucose was down today as well. Must be something in the air...or maybe just the food dish!!

  4. That's great news. I, too, believe that we have to take control of our own health.

  6. What great news from your Dr. We both had good news today. Just sorry you need to stick around for another month but better safe than sorry as they say.
When the a/c is running it will help.

    1. Thanks Jo, won't be long until you are in the mountains. Hoping the air is fixed tomorrow, 87 inside today and it wasn't comfortable.

  8. Well done! You've done a good job on following protocol. Sorry that you have to stay longer though, but I know all about having to stick around following proper protocol. I HOPE they get your a/c fixed tomorrow!!! I've not set up my portable a/c yet & I'm getting a bit grumpy over the heat here. I want to get the RV into a shop for a tune up before I set up the monster a/c.

    1. Thanks TexCyn, a month will be tolerable if the air gets fixed. You know we do what we have to do.
