Another day

Another day with only a ballgame on the schedule. The Cardinals are playing at 11:30 AM in Cincinnati, so you know what I will be doing shortly. The Cardinals have picked up right where they left off last season when they won the World Series, they have played 6 games and won 5 of them. These have all been road games and after today they are finally going to head home for the season opener at Busch stadium. Opening day is always a major event in St. Louis with the pregame ceremonies lasting well over an hour. They feature the Clydesdale horses, Cardinal Hall of Fame players including, Stan the Man Musial and introduction of all the players and coaches who tour the outfield in convertibles waving to the crowd. It is quite a sight to see.

On my trip to Wal-mart the other day I found more damage to Mel. The spot mirror on the drivers side was in more pieces that I cared to try to reassemble so this morning I searched for a replacement on the internet. Fortunately the unit is a stick on unit and the cost of the replacement was less than $4.00 and it's on the way. How the main mirror kept from being broken I have no idea.

Time for the ballgame and todays dose of enjoying the good life.

  1. Another day...another dollar...or four$. Guess you got off easy on that part anyway. Enjoy your ball game.

  2. It's just money, but I still haven't accumulated enough to clear my $500.00 deductible, so I still consider myself fortunate.

  3. I am not much of a baseball fan, but I would go just to see the Clydesdale Horses!
