Today's adventure.

This morning Roger, Donna, Jim and I all headed to the Cracker Barrel to meet up with Len and Diane for a nice social breakfast. A nice leisurely breakfast was enjoyed with plenty of lively conversation. After breakfast it was time to head to Wal-mart to pick up the twice delayed prescription. It had arrived and I am now fully medicated. I did see an article in the news this morning, before I left to pick up my statin medication, that government has added an additional warning to statin medications citing that they might cause confused thinking. This warning won't effect me because this is a condition I enjoyed long before medications.

Today we are looking at a projected 95 degree temperature, so the air conditioning has been set to work. I like warm temperatures, but too much of a good thing makes it difficult to enjoy the good life.

  2. Yeah, I think I read that report too, but I'm not certain that I remember exactly what it said. I take a statin, too, but I'm sure there's no connection there. Like you, I've been this way for a lot longer than I've been taking the statin. Thanks for sharing. Glad you enjoyed such a good breakfast.

  3. You went to Cracker Barrel again and didn't ask me? Oh well I guess I will just have to go by myself.
But glad you finally were able to get you statin. I'm confused all the time and I don't take that stuf.

    1. Jo, you are welcome anytime. Unfortunately these events are usually scheduled the night before which makes your getting here on time a bit of a problem.

  4. We get most of our prescriptions by mail. You know you're getting old when the highlight of your day is getting a big envelope of pills in the mail.
