Day 3

Day 3 of the wind blowing up from the gulf and making things hot, muggy and windy. 84 degrees here already and the wind has been in the 30+ miles per hour range. Today I have been busy learning how to operate my blood glucose monitoring system. This requires several sticks a day and then logging the results to establish a pattern. The medicine I have been given seems to make me drowsy, but I need to catch up on my sleep anyway. So it's all good.

Today the Big Ten basketball tournament starts so I will have plenty to watch on the tube today as I stay in to avoid the wind and sit back and enjoy the good life.

  1. Yep, windy here Sat. Sun & Mon were nice days, so worked on the RV. Glad I did too, as now it's balmy, windy & rainy. Take care & enjoy the games.

  3. Dang - you got the old sticker machine going on huh? That's no fun - but if it helps then it's worth it. Hope you had a good day napping in your chair and watching some B-Ball.

  4. Did they give you the stik thing for your arm or your finger. The arm one didn't work on my daughter but the finger thing hurts.

Catching up on sleep sounds good to me.

  5. I have the prick your finger one but I am a coward and do not have the nerve it takes to poke myself :(

The wind is terrible here too.
