BBall

Today has been a rush. First it was necessary to do laundry to avoid future embarrassment and an all too complete sunburn. Future apparel has been assured for at least a couple of weeks. This is a good thing.

Then it was back to the tube to follow today's basketball games. This will take me well into the evening. Yesterday's result was Indiana winning their first round game and moving on. They will play again tomorrow. Today we have Missouri and Notre Dame and between games there is laundry to fold.

It will be a busy day, enjoying the good life.

  1. Laundry is a necessary evil, but spending the rest of the day watching bball is something I would never do. It's best that there are different strokes for different folks in this good life. :)

  2. Judy, I grew up surrounded by folks who strongly influenced my love of sports. My father played for Notre Dame and St Louis University and officiated basketball for years. I began going with him to games when I was in the third grade, guess it was my destiny. My grandfather was athletic director at my school. Just had to be.

  3. Ahhhh, yes....I just had to purchase some essential under garments just awhile back so I could make it between laundry days without complete exposure! I totally understand!!

  4. Russ, we do what we have to do, but it seems there is never enough in the drawer.

  5. I haven't even saved enough quarters yet to start that evil deed. Oh well I keep plenty of those under things so I can go for about 2 weeks.
I'm glad you got it done wouldn't want you to get that nasty burn that is never exposed to the suns rays. OUCH

    1. I could have a two month supply and I would still be down to the last pair before I was ready (forced) to do laundry.

  6. Its 12:58 am and I just turned off the tv about 30 minutes ago. I took vacation days Thursday and Friday and watched as many games as possible, some on split screen depending if the games were good.

So in 2 days I have watched almost 25 hours of actual playing time.

Im ready for Saturday night, I want a rematch with UK next week in Atlanta.

    1. I'm not so sure about that rematch, but it will have to be if we keep moving forward.
