Unwelcome guests

Yesterday's Thanksgiving diner ended up being a success. I ended up going with the shrimp, potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie. The volume of food did require a nap to be digested, but that was to be expected.

Yesterday some new tenants apparently entered the park and no one seems too pleased about it. A family of black cats with the white stripe down their back made their presence known yesterday by marking their territory. Management isn't too pleased and has gone into skunk removal mode. It hasn't been too aromatic around here today so maybe management has been successful in moving them on down the road,

Not much going on today, I think half the park went shopping and the other half is playing golf. I'm doing neither. I'm simply enjoying the good life.

  1. Oh I had to laugh over your description of skunks! One passes through here daily. You can smell him as he passes through, but fortunately, he keeps going on his way! Your dinner sounds scrumptious.

  2. At first I thought you had some mice in your rig! Never been too fond of those striped cats myself. :)

  3. Your feast sounds very enjoyable. The after diner bouquet not so much.
I hope they got rid of them.

  4. I'm happy to report that nothing seemed to interrupt the quality of the air today.
