Planning time

It has been very quiet around here this morning with very little activity being observed. With this lack of activity I have been busy on the computer making plans, all sorts of plans. The first set of plans involves what will be seen when making a trip to Fort Seldon later in the week. The second set of plans is a bit more involved and details my escape from New Mexico to my winter home in Texas next month. Having made the trip from here to Texas three years in a row the trick becomes to find a different route so we can explore some different sites. I have a rough plan laid out in Google Maps. The problem with west Texas is that there just aren't many choice for getting through this part of the country. The other problem is that by the time I'm ready to leave another route might strike my fancy more and all of the planning will have just been an exercise. That's the life of a retired traveler with nothing set in stone.

The rest of the day will likely continue with more of the same unless some other activity is observed. This evening there will be another Cardinal game as the suspense continues. The Cardinals have closed within 1 game of the Braves with three games to go. A close pennant race is one way to enjoy the good life, but it's sure hard on the nerves.
