Monsoons

It seems like we are now in a pattern, much like the tropics, of afternoon rains. Yesterday we clouded up real good, we had some loud thunder and sharp lightening and then the skies opened up with some heavy rain for about ten minutes. An hour later we were back to blue skies and white billowy clouds like nothing had happened. Here's what the clouds looked like as they passed through the area.

This morning we have already had one storm blow through and we are now back in sunshine and clear skies, but more clouds are building to the west and planning their next assault on us.


We are now established in the weekend mode and football and baseball will be part of enjoying the good life today.
