Just a walk

Last nights supper was very enjoyable and many lies were swapped and catching up was accomplished. This morning I started down the hill to the lower level for my morning walk. I made it as far as Loren's place and we were able to engage in a nice conversation. It wasn't long before George showed up from Lakeside which raised the tone of the conversation another level. I would think a few more sessions like last nights and this mornings will solve most of the problems the world is dealing with.

One thing we talked about last night was the rain we had the other night and Phyllis mentioned she had some pictures of water rushing through the arroyo behind her site. This is what a normally dry arroyo looks like after a half inch of rain.

Can you say 'flash flood'?

Today has now been used up solving world problems and I expect recuperation time will be required this afternoon. Over doing is not a part of enjoying the good life.

  1. You and your friends are doing a great job solving world problems from the sound of it. :)

Those are great pictures of the arroyo. Last week the Santa Cruz in Tucson reach bank top to bank top and washed someone away. They can kill in an instant.

  2. Arroyos around the deserts are very dangerous. The rain can be miles away, but the flood travels fast.
