Giddyup

This morning we got a nice early start and pointed ourselves west. 400 miles later we landed in one of our favorite RV Parks in Seibert, Colorado. This park is nothing fancy, but the fit is like a comfortable old pair of slippers. The family that runs this park go out of their way to make you feel at home. I'll stop here for a couple of days to get caught up on laundry and do some visiting.

Yesterday I got an email from Shelly (she and Sal were my neighbors in Zapata) and we are working on getting together in September in Elephant Butte. They got rid of the Country Coach and have acquired a new fifth wheel that they are needing road test. I sure hope we can work this meeting out.

400 miles is enough activity for one day so I intend to do nothing more than enjoy the good life the rest of the day.

  2. I really dislike doing laundry in a laundra mat. So I bought lots of extra things so I only have to go every 2 weeks. :)

  3. We are planning on 400 miles today. The farthest we've traveled in one day so far on our trip has been a little over 300. If figure if you can do it so can I!
