This is the old power plant located next to the mill race, which is where you would expect it to be located.
What German community would be complete without a brewery, at least a micro-brewery. This one is the oldest in Iowa.
The Millstream Brewing Company is appropriately located next to the mill race and after much deliberation the company name was selected.

Some towns have everything but the kitchen sink. Amana even has the Kitchen Sink. Anything you would ever want for the kitchen was located here.
One of the many good eating places in town. I ate here on a visit several years ago and wasn't hungry for three days after I left. Most of the restaurants in town serve family style which means you order your entree and everyone at the table shares bowls of side dishes, rolls, etc.
We have made a dent in the pictures, but there are plenty left for tomorrow. More time to enjoy the good life stepping back in time.
