After the tours were completed the other day a stop at the Amana Meat Market was in order. When I checked in to the RV Park I was given two tokens each for a pound of German Brats for $1.00 and I couldn't pass the deal up. Of course, by the time I left there the bill was considerably more than $2.00, but I've sure got some good eating on hand.
How hot is the Midwest today, well here is the warning map. The pink is the excess heat warning and the green is the flooding along the Missouri river.
With temperatures in the mid 90's and high humidity the heat indexes for today will range from 100 to 115. Looks like today enjoying the good life will be spent indoors watching the Cardinal's baseball game.

ReplyDeleteIt has been very warm up here in the White MOuntains of AZ and now it is monsoon season. But the when I hear it is 108 in Tucson I figure this is still the better of the 2 places.
