The day is currently on hold. We are waiting for a mechanic to arrive from Bakers RV repair. Whenever I'm in Elephant Butte I try to get anything that needs fixed taken care of by Chip Baker. Chip has always been fair and the quality of his work is second to none. Mel' steps are currently flexing more than I'd like when weight is put on them and I've asked him to take a look and see if there is anything that can be done to firm them up a bit.
If Chip shows up in time, Loren has asked me to ride along to some old ghost towns this afternoon in his jeep. I'm hoping that we can accomplish both today because it will make for a good day of enjoying the good life.
