Today I moved to my friend Sal and Shelly's in Farmington New Mexico and I will be here for a few day
pursuing the life of a professional tourist.
This is Mel setup in my friends driveway. This is one of the nicest parks I've stayed in and management is just super.
There were two events on the way down. The first was the mandatory stop at Wal-Mart to reload the pantry. On returning I noticed that the refrigerator had not switched to propane and a error message was displayed indicating there was not enough battery to power the circuit board in the refrigerator. A check of the batteries revealed that they had gone to battery heaven and it was time to invest a bit of cash and replace the non-working batteries with some that worked. Fortunately Sal spent many years in the car business and his son Josh still has a resellers license so we were able to get a pretty good deal on a couple of new Interstate batteries.Of course installing them wasn't a problem until Murphy showed up and caused the battery tray to fall off its glides. After wrestling with the tray for a couple of hours it was decided to stop for the day in hopes that the problem might self correct over night. Not really expecting this to occur, but it will, at least, let us enjoy the good life for the rest of the day.
