Extended a day

My trip to the four corners area has been postponed a day. I have decided to extend here a day because my eyes have not fully absorbed all that is around me. I walked around this morning and took a few more pictures of what I'm looking at so you can enjoy the views too.
You can see Mel in the center of the picture in the shadow of the mountains.
Mel is parked next to a juniper bush or something similar. It sure does make things smell good.

Our next stop tomorrow will be the little town of Dolores and the campground we have picked out is right on the Dolores river. Today we will just sit back and enjoy the wonderful views and the breeze coming off the mountains. What a way to enjoy the good life.

    Boy John, you're really making me anxious to hook up to our 5th wheel and head out. Beautiful pictures and glad you take the time to really explore the areas and share them with us.
    Just six days to retirement and then we hope to do some traveling.
