A quick tour

This morning a quick tour was taken around the park and it's neighboring park. Flat land along side the Snake river must be at a premium because on this little flat stretch their are two RV parks side by side. I'm staying in Catfish Junction and the neighbor is the Oasis.
There is quite a bit of sign clutter on the highway as each of them compete for business. Our parked topped them with the addition of the goat petting area. Something you don't find in many campgrounds. As a matter of fact this might be the only one in the country to offer such an amenity.
Today is also the parks bi-weekly flea market and their have been quite a few folks dropping by to inspect the fleas and of course the Sanke River Mall is opened for business.
The excitement is just never ending around here. Of course this road is also part of the Oregon Trail and we still see an occasional stragler making his was west.
This one happens to be a the gate of our park and doesn't seem to be making very good time. Riding across the country like this would make it difficult to enjoy the good life.
