Still waiting

I'm still waiting for something exciting to happen around here. We came close to excitement yesterday when they had earthquakes over in southern California, but nothing shook here. I suppose I could wake up one morning and have a view of the Pacific Ocean if they got a big enough one. The temperatures around here are back in the 110 degree range and it's very difficult to find any signs of life around the park. I'm not sure how many of the year round residents are enjoying the good life when they never get out of their rigs.

I did notice yesterday on the weather map that if I had left here on schedule the area where I should be about now was under a winter weather advisory with freeze warnings and snow in the higher elevations. So there are positives to getting delayed. Northern Nevada had 20 to 30 degree overnight lows and high wind warning to 60 miles per hour. I think I'm glad I missed that.

Today some new reading material arrived via the internet so I will have something to read while waiting for my body to repair itself. Later there will be another Cardinal game to watch and again of all this activity becomes too much there is always the siesta option. There is certainly more than one way to enjoy the good life.
