More of the same

This morning it was more of the same. Wake up, search for the crowbar and then pry the eye open to be ready to face the day. Most of yesterday was spent mopping gunk out of the eye with a few phone calls to friends to discuss the situation at 4 Seasons. Sal and Shelly are in Montana and getting ready to return home to Colorado next week. They will also be making a trip to Florida later in the summer before returning to Zapata this fall. Rodger is doing pretty well after the recent death of his wife, Brenda, but doesn't plan to return to Zapata, at least this year. There were also a lot of emails to be attended to as the speculation of what's going to happen to 4 Seasons continues. It should be an interesting season.

Today's activities will be limited to additional recovery time while watching the thermometer again climb to the 110 range after our recent cold snap where it only got to 95. I suppose I will also be able to work in a little computer time and if I can find a hole in my busy schedule a nap may be in order. All part of enjoying the good life.
