More work to be done

The doctors visit yesterday found that the stitches were not ready to come out yet, at least not all of them. They removed every other stitch and I will have to wait two more weeks for the rest of them to be removed. The doctor also looked over the eye infection and decided a biopsy was in order so we will also have to wait for the results of that.
Here's a look at my incision, pretty isn't it? The moral of this story is don't see your friendly dermatologist when his mortgage payment is due.

The good thing about having to stay a couple of more weeks is I won't have to worry about being cold. The predicted high for Sunday is 115 degrees. Nights it cools down to the mid 80's and Mel's air conditioning is working overtime to keep s comfortable.

We are still getting to see some wonderful sunsets and that is about all the activity here at the edge of the Mojave desert.

Today a trip to Wal-Mart is in order to restock the pantry and then a stop on the way back to freshen the wardrobe at the laundry. All this will be done asap so we can get back to hook up the air conditioner before we get to today's high of 109. Today will be a good day for staying inside and enjoying the good life.
