Hagerman, ID

Today's travels took me out of Northern Nevada and into Idaho. First stop was Jackpot, NV. This little town came into existence in 1954 after Idaho outlawed all forms of gambling. The casino owners simply moved across the state line to accept the money Idaho didn't want.

Then it was on to Twin Falls where Mel and I accomplished something that Evel Knievel couldn't do. We crossed the Snake River canyon. Of course we were smart enough to use the bridge that was provided instead of trying to jump it like Evel did.
Looking east from the overlook.
Looking west under the bridge.
Another view to the west.

What's left of the day will be spent watching Cardinal baseball and enjoying the good life.
