Adjusting

It''s another hot day here in Lake Havasu on the way to 110, but I must be adjusting. I had to move the thermostat up to 85 degrees because 80 degrees was just dern cold in here for me. It's funny how we adjust to the climate we are living in. I still don't want to have to adjust to the climate in Minnesota though.

I had a call from Annis this morning and she and Harley were doing well. She didn't have any additional information on 4 Seasons so I guess we are in a wait and see what happens mode. Harley has pretty much made a full recovery from his broken leg and is now riding a bicycle around for exercise. Some 80 year olds just can't be slowed up.

The weekend warriors next door arrived yesterday and were busy celebrating their day on the lake at 1:30 this morning. Apparently they received a dispensation on quite hours. I thought about testing the generator this morning at 7:00 am, but refrained. One more late night partying might push my cranky button over the edge.

One thing I've noticed in my travels is that all parks have a set of rules. From my perspective the better parks are the ones that enforce the rules. So it is getting easier to just drive through a park and tell whether it's going to be a pleasant place to stay or not.

This afternoon I will be making a serious effort to stay out of the sun and enjoy the good life.
