The day started off with a major lack of flourish as my body seemed to think it was pretty content amongst the sheets. The feeling might have come from the fact that my neighbors (weekend warriors) forgot to observe quite hours and were on their patio about 20 feet away from my bedroom window with the radio playing and 6 to 8 of their closest friends visiting until 2 am. The noise level rose proportionately to the amount of beer consumed. This park is different than most I have stayed at in that the management of the park leaves at 5 pm and doesn't return until 8 am. Management of the park during the night time is in the hands of the inmates and they are not doing a very good job.
So I have designated today an official lazy day. This is also in order with the temperature heading for 90 degrees. Inside and enjoying the good life.
Sounds like that park needs to be added to my NO GO list. No authority in the park at night is not good in my worthless opinion. That would leave me with the only option to be calling the local police. That should get some park owners attention.
ReplyDeleteYou're right Barney. This is a new park and I don't think the owners have the hang of it yet.
ReplyDeleteWhere do the owners go at night? Most that we have run across live right in or adjacent to the park. Someone maybe ought to clue them in to the need for some night security...
ReplyDeleteI suggest you acquire a set of noise-canceling headphones and an MP3 player. Then you could rest and recreate to YOUR personal favorites, regardless of what they consider to be "good music."
