Hang onto your hat

Just in time for the weekend warriors the wind has kicked up to greet them. It has been blowing at a steady 25 mph since early this morning. I'm sure if this continues it will put a damper on the boating activities on the lake for the weekend.

I did get a couple of pictures of some of the other flowers around the park before the wind sends the petals off on an airborne journey.

One of the amenities here in the park is the pool and hot tub area. Since I've been here I have seen very few people take advantage of the pool, probably because of the lack of shade and the high temperatures.

Today I will continue to look at the world through blurry eyes or at least one eye as I continue the application of medicine. It does seem to be working and things are clearing up. This afternoon I will be staying out of the wind. The combination of the blowing dust and the goop in my eye would probably make for an adobe eye lid, which is not recommended. I will continue to enjoy the good life even though it's sheltered.
