We are at 92 degrees and it's only 10 am. After careful consideration my prediction is it's going to be a hot one. This morning started with a test of my culinary skills and a ham and cheese omelet was created. The attempt was apparently successful as measured by the failure of the smoke detector to sound. I only recently discovered I had a smoke detector, I had assumed it was a timer for my cooking.
The routine here seems to be out in the early morning then find the A/C during the heat of the day followed by a reemergence when the temperature drops back into the 80's. During the heat of the day this place becomes a ghost town.
Today there was an art show and street luau festival downtown. I decided to pass on the walk in the heat. Instead, I've opted for a day of research on future travels, all the while staying out of the sun and enjoying the good life.
