This Easter morning has started out hot and humid. We are already a 75 degrees and the humidity is 76%. The only thing keeping the temperature down is the overcast skies which promise to burn off later and the expected high is 96. I'm sure glad Mel's air conditioner is working.
This morning the dinner committee was in the hall very early getting things ready for today's Easter dinner. They did a dine job of decorating the place and we are ready to eat at 1 o'clock.
This table will soon be piled with yummy stuff to eat.
All is ready for a group of hungry people.
This morning has already seen of load of laundry make it through the washer and dryer as the list for pre-travel preparations grows shorter. I also made a walk to the mailbox this morning only to find that my mail hasn't arrived yet. If it arrives Monday I will have completed the checklist and will probably leave here Monday or Tuesday.
The rest of the day will be spent gathering with the remaining residents and enjoying the good life.
