Summer hits
We have gone straight to summer. Yesterday we hit 93 degrees and of course once the temperature reaches the 90's around here that means break out the ice cream freezers, it's time for home made ice cream. Aubrey was the first to get the ball rolling with pineapple ice cream, cake and brownies were contributed by the neighbors.
This morning saw another departure as Jim and Sue headed out. They will be stopping in San Antonio for a couple of weeks to visit their son before heading on to Missouri. They have sold their awning so they won't be back next year. They will sure be missed.
