Last night was corned beef and cabbage night. Even with all the departures in the last few weeks a crowd of over 100 showed up to enjoy Mike and his crews culinary skills. Prior to eating the awards for the Four Seasons season long fishing contest were awarded. The ladies dominated the catfish contest winning all three places and of course Brian won the bass contest with his 14 pounder.
Early afternoon preparation. Mike said they bought three head of cabbage for 100 people. Three head are shown on the table, but I really suspect they had more hidden somewhere.

Yesterday I fired up the air compressor and filled Mel's flat tire to 65 pounds to check and see if maybe it was just a stuck valve. This mornings reading was 17 pounds so today we will be waiting for the tire man. He has a much better day to work than yesterday with the temperature on the way to 80 and clear skies. Once Mel's shoe is fixed it will be back to enjoying the good life.
