This morning has dawned sunny and the temperature is rising after an over night low of 28 degrees. This is about the same as it was in the Midwest, so they have nothing on us. Today we are heading for 60 and by mid-week back to 80 so things are soon to be back to normal around here.
This morning was the monthly flea market and I went over to the rec hall to check things out. Apparently I have all the fleas I need because I didn't see anything that struck my fancy.
I also heard from my daughter Laurie this morning with some sad news. Her father-in-law Tim McKernan, aka the Barrelman, passed away last night. Tim was well know around Denver for being an avid Bronco fan who wore a barrel, orange cowboy boots and an orange Stetson to Bronco football games. He was quite a celebrity in and around Denver. My prayers are with his family. Tim was certainly one who enjoyed the good life.
