Basement bound

The thermometer is headed for the basement around here. Here is what the National weather service is saying:

... FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST SATURDAY...

If the happens it will be the first time in three years I will see a temperature below freezing. I would get out the winter coat....if I had one. The good news is the the extended forecast is predicting  80 degrees by Tuesday. That's more to my liking. Right now the wind is blowing at about 25 mph and it's 45 degrees.

Yesterday I visited with Harley, after I carried in the groceries for Annis, and he seems to be doing well. His spirits are good and there has been a steady stream of visitors to keep him company.

Today will be spent staying out of the wind and maybe working on the computer. Fortunately there is more than one way to enjoy the good life.
