Chore day

Today is the day for doing chores. Three loads of laundry have been washed, dried folded and hung up. We have also done some housecleaning. A trip was made to the office to pay the $41.00 electric bill. This is the highest bill I have ever had here and I'm sure it's the result of the earlier than normal arrival and the need to run the air conditioner on the several 100+ degree days we have had. The rest of the day will be spent puttering around as we prepare for a trip to Laredo tomorrow. It's time to restock the pantry. Spending money is just another way of enjoying the good life.
