Today is Dennis's last day to work here ant the park and Tammy retired yesterday. So far, the day has pretty much been a wash. A trip was taken up to the office this morning to visit with the folks and then back home to watch an early Cardinal game and not much else has been accomplished. Tonight we are having a surprise get together for Tammy and Dennis, although some of the surprise might have been lost since Tammy is the one who invited me to attend. I think some of the ladies are putting together special desserts and I contributed to the ice cream fund. It should be a good evening.
Right now it's 73 degrees and the humidity is at 11% with a 7mph breeze. A perfect day for sitting on the patio, chatting with friends, eating ice cream and cake and enjoying the good life.
