Batten down the hatches

Today we are enjoying a nice breeze to the tune of 25 miles per hour. The temperature is up to 80 and all in all it's a pretty day for us to enjoy. Last night we had the first ice cream and cake get together in the rec hall. There are no pictures because the batteries in the camera have decided not to be 'ever-ready' and the spares I had have passed on also. We did have several cakes to choose from including my favorite, angel food. They will be having these once a month to celebrate birthdays and anniversarys. It's just anothe way to enjoy the good life.

    Hi John,

    Might I suggest getting some Eneloop batterise they hold a charge for a really long time and they last a long time also. I get mine from Battery Bob, www.batterybob.com.
