1,000th post
Today I made my 1,000th post since I've started doing the blog. Of course some of the posts were done before I started traveling and some days it was necessary to make a second post as additional events occurred during the day that required my attention. Of course the big surprise, to me at least, has been the number of readers. My intention initially was to keep a few friends and family members informed of where I was and what I was doing. However, I have heard from so many who enjoy traveling along with me that it makes me feel that I have plenty of company along with me as I travel this great country. Many who are otherwise unable to travel for various reasons are with me and I'm glad to have you along. It's just another way of sharing the good life.

ReplyDeleteWay to go John on your blog and continued travels. I've only been following your travels for about a year but feel like I'm traveling with you. I will retire next August and hope to hit the road as well. We won't full time it but want to see the country. Hopefully we will run into you some day. In the mean time keep the blogs coming and I'll keep checking on you.

Thans KennyB, I'll look forward to seeing you out here, the sooner the better. I know the last year before my retirement was one of the longest in my life, but this too shall pass.
