Yesterday I spent the day waiting for Camping World to call me back to schedule an appointment for Mel's plumbing repairs. In talking to the service advisor at 8:30 in the morning he checked his schedule and had no problem with setting up an appointment for next Monday and all was well until I mentioned I was still under warranty. At this point he said I needed to talk with someone else. The someone else finally called back at 4:30 and he had serious attitude. Even though I could have scheduled an appointment for next Monday if I was a cash customer this guy tells me Wednesday is the earliest he can get me in. I asked why the difference and he said warranty work would be done on his terms. I thanked him and told him that as a full timer who relied on the systems in my RV I didn't think he was appreciative of the reality of the situation and I would be taking my business elsewhere. I will be leaving Sunday and going back to Elephant Butte where I know an excellent RV repairman who will do the work for me.
Last night we had thunderstorms and the temperature has been slow to rise here today. We are currently at 66 degrees. With more rain expected.
Cardinal baseball will keep me busy this afternoon.
