The campground is quite today. There are only 8 units left. Several left bright and early this morning. Last night I had a nice young couple next to me in their tent. They have been enjoying the Colorado mountains and are now heading back home to Blacksburg, Virginia and . There are also three women across from me, two of them have motorhomes and one has a trailer and they are all full-timers headed for a Bigfoot camper rally in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Even the owners have left. Last night Jim and Lisa and their two girls, Samantha and Courtney headed for the airport in Denver to fly to New York to visit their son who is a cadet at the Merchant Marine Academy in New York. They are a really nice family and I always enjoy visiting with them. They have another couple watching the park while they are gone.
The weather here is great, it promises to be in the mid 80's today with lots of sunshine. Another day to enjoy the good life.
