The day started out with a stop at the laundromat and the a quick run by the clinic to make sure I was still healthy. After that I made a run up the river to Nauvoo, Illinois. Nauvoo is the last place the Mormons lived before being driven to Utah. In 1845, at it's peak population, Nauvoo was the second largest city in Illinois. After leaving Nauvoo I journeyed on through Carthage and on to Macomb, where I will spend the night. Here are the fist of many pictures from Nauvoo.
