Tombstone

Today I spent the day walking the streets of old Tombstone. The history is there if you can get by the commercialism. I hit the streets early before the crowds arrived and took in the sights. I shot a lot of pictures that I will be sharing in the next couple of days. I plan on going back tomorrow to take in more of the town.

Conestoga wagon on Allen street.

The Butterfield stage was there too.

The infamous OK Corral

This is Big Nose Kate's saloon. Kate was Doc Holliday's girl friend.

An old hotel.

Looking down Allen street.

Another view.

Originally the Golden Eagle Brewing Company this building later became the Crystal Palace. It also had Deputy US Marshall Virgil Earp's office on the second floor.

The local Bird Cage Theatre.

A long look down Allen street.

The Silver Nugget Bar.
