Hot day

Today is a hot one, it's currently 95 degrees and still rising. Most everyone is inside enjoying their air conditioning, me included. You remember Vern and his wile Delma left yesterday. Well I just heard from Gary and Pat that they didn't make it to Laredo before they had a blow out on their trailer. Fortunately Gary and Pat and Gary and Martha were on their way to Laredo and came on then along side the road. They were able to get the spare installed and escort them to the tire shop to get a replacement and get them on their way again. The Bartons and Hoopers were so happy to be at the right place at the right time and I'm sure Vern, Delma and Martha were most happy to see them. We just hope the rest of their trip is uneventful.
