Santa Fe, NM

Well today I got started and couldn't stop. It is a long way between towns out here. I stopped at Las Vegas and found a very dirty town with a pretty run down Wal-Mart so I just kept going. Santa Fe isn't much better. Most of the streets I've been on are under construction and the city doesn't allow RV's in town overnight. I did find a Sam's Club which is outside the city limits and will stay here until the a.m. Tomorrow I plan on traveling the same distance to Elephant Butte, NM and the shutting down for about a month. Elephant Butte is the largest lake in southern NM and it looks like a good place for an extended stay.
