Over the hill

We have climbed over Raton pass and it was a chore. Mel had to work extra hard today and by the time we reached the top our speed was down to 48 mph. I don't the the gas mileage was real great either. We are now on the high plains between mountains and the day hasn't gotten much better. So far no sun and temps in the low 60's. On to Las Vegas, New Mexico that is.
