Back in Hannibal

I got back in Hannibal early this morning and saw a lot of water on US 61 between Wayland and Hannibal. At one point the water was about 3 feet deep alongside the highway and if it wasn't for the sandbags the water would have covered the road. Stopped by the barber shop and saw the Skinner boys and took my required dose of lip. Actually, I've always enjoyed their company, but don't tell them that. Then I went to the office in Ralls County and visited with the gang out there. Lots of fun. I am now getting ready to head out to Mark Twain Lake for the evening and will return to Hannibal tomorrow to visit with two of my sisters. The pictures below were sent to me and I don't know who took them, but I thought I would share them so you would have an idea of what the flood of 08 looks like around Hannibal.
