Today we went to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. It is a New Mexico State park and is really well done. You
leave the visitor center on a 1.5 mile walk that takes you through various life zones associated with the desert. Along the way are animal
exhibits and the plants are all marked along the trail. Mel had to work again today, because the park is on another mesa. We have now move on down the road and are in
Artesia for the night and then it's on to Roswell to see the aliens.
