In our search for blue shies Mel and I traveled 175 miles today and struck out. We did learn some history today when we took a side trip to the town of Iraan where the west Texas oil industry began. We are now in Ft. Stockton which we will explore when the weather clears.

Mel had to climb over some hills to get to Iraan.
