Tuesday eats

Today started out like it was going to be gloomy, it rained briefly at 6:30 and looked grim, but the sun quickly broke through and it's now 75 degrees. Everyone in the park is concerned this morning, one of the neighbors had a stroke last night and was taken by ambulance to Laredo. We are waiting for word on how he is doing. It's nice to see how the people have rallied around to offer what help they can. Tonight is the brisket dinner. The cooks started smoking the meat about 10 am and it really smells good. They bought 100 pounds of brisket and sold 200 tickets so there ought to be plenty. 4 hours to wait, then mmmmm.
