Extended stay.
Yesterday after posting the blog we had thunderstorms, the first time for me in over a year that I've actually seen lightning and heard thunder. The other event yesterday afternoon was some intestinal disruption that caused me to spend most of the afternoon in Mel's smallest room. Things are not quite back to normal this morning so I contacted the front desk and extended until Monday. That way I'll be under no pressure to attempt to drive from the little room in the back while hoping the cruise control is working.
I have a few pictures from my exit the other day from Green River as I climbed out of the valley and into the hills. Remember this was all sea bed at one time and the terrain you're looking at was once sea floor and reefs.
Today will be a day to re-hydrate with a ballgame this afternoon and enjoying the good life for the bulk of the day.
From the official Dr Pepper site:
ReplyDelete"Q: Does Dr Pepper contain prune juice?
A: Dr Pepper is a unique blend of natural and artificial flavors; it does not contain prune juice."
Believe what you will..... (sorry, do hope you are feeling better by now)
I'm sure I'd have a bigger reaction if I quit drinking it.
DeleteSh?t happens...
ReplyDeleteRight you are, sometimes in volume.
DeleteNasty bit of illness there. Um just in case nobody told you yet. cruse control is only for speed not straight on driving or turns that may take you off the road and down a cliff.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better.
Feeling better, thanks. Believe there is a paragraph in the Ford owners manual to that effect. How dumb was the person that necessitated that statement?
Deleteoops cruise.
ReplyDeleteI knew what you were saying.
DeleteHope you are feeling better. The Cardinal victory today should help lift your spirits.
ReplyDeleteFeeling much better and the win didn't hurt.
DeleteI read the plaques and found The Silent City and A Place No One Wanted really interesting. I am with Hannan...Why would a man take a woman to that place? But she must have found something that suited her fancy...she stayed.
ReplyDeleteHope today is a much better day for you
My question would be, why would a man want to settle in such a place?
DeleteGood decision, auto pilot just ain't what it used to be....
ReplyDeleteGood point.
