Sitting in the shade of the pine trees and watching the traffic roll by on Interstate 40. Temperature is 75 degrees with a 10 mile per hour breeze. I'm not sure it gets much better than this. Of course, I'm in the holiday mode, which is one notch lazier than the weekend mode. I'm busy doing nothing, but there is so much nothing to do that it might carry over until tomorrow.
This is how the professionals enjoy the good life.
Sounds like a good profession to be in - just don't join a union. They'll have you relaxing on a schedule and we wouldn't want that!!
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm strictly independent.
ReplyDeleteI waved as we went by - did you see us?
ReplyDeleteI must have been dozing on the job.
DeleteDon't strain yourself...
ReplyDeleteSo far, so good.
DeleteWhat about the ballgames? You to lazy to turn the tube on?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holiday of laziness.
I managed to get the ballgame on without too much undo strain.
DeleteJeepers, any slower and you'd be going backwards!
ReplyDeleteHaste makes waste.
DeleteWell what else is there to do but stay out of traffic.
ReplyDeleteI may follow suite tomorrow as soon as I take the tent down.
It's a lot easier to watch the traffic go by than join in.
