It started last night about 6 pm and hasn't stopped yet, the rain that is. We are now up to an inch and a half of rain in the last 30 hours and it's not over yet. We also watched last night as mass quantities of electricity was discharged from the skies. For awhile it was an almost continuous light show. The accompanying thunder made sleeping a chore, but the show was plenty good.
My new electrical management system arrived yesterday and it was immediately put into service managing the waves of electricity flowing into Mel. With all the lightening in the area last night it was of some comfort to have some protection in place.
It looks like today will be spent undercover as more storm clouds push through the area. At least it's somewhat cooler which will make enjoying the good life a bit easier.
I love storms and ours took a few days off. Although it is very over cast today and maybe we will see more rain, thunder and lightening.
