This morning has been project morning. The first job tackled was changing the cartridges in the water filter system. Down here it doesn't take long to clog the filter because the water is so hard. Once that job was finished it was time to clean out another of Mel's storage bays. Everything came out and was evaluated for need. My philosophy is, if it hasn't been used in the last year then it's probably not worth toting around. So far, this system has worked for me. The first time I did it I expected whatever was discarded would be needed the next week. I know I risk the wrath of Murphy by saying this, but to date this system has worked. Mel, like many of us, has a tendency to gain weight throughout the year and this is my way of keeping him lean and mean.
Today is pay the electricity day so I guess I will find out how many gallons I've used when I go to the office. Other than that the day has been cleared for enjoying the good life.
