We've reached our projected high for the day and it's 51 degrees, the sun is still missing in action and the prospects for the day aren't exactly the best. We are now in the sixth day in our sunless world and it's starting to take a toll. My solar address light is only able to gather enough energy during the day to burn until about 8 o'clock at night and then fades out. It's starting to have the same effect on the folks here. Last night the mist turned into a drizzle and then a gentle rain for awhile, but this morning we have returned to the foggy mist. According to the weatherman we should begin warming tomorrow and might even catch a glimpse of the sun.
Last night Larry and I headed to Angels for our weekly sojourn up town to spread the wealth. A chicken fried steak was consumed to swell the belly and ward off starvation which has now been forestalled for a couple of months.
This morning was pancake day, but not having a taste for pancakes I didn't even make the trip to the hall. Instead I chose to be lazy and stayed in bed an extra hour. The rest of the day will probably be devoted to doing nothing, know full well that practice makes perfect. This will be my effort in enjoying the good life.
